By booking with Tess Collective, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

Hire & Payment

Tess Collective offers a standard 3-day hire period, centred around your selected event date. The full hire fee is payable at the time of booking to secure your dress and date.

All hires are currently Brisbane collection and return only. Dresses remain the property of Tess Collective throughout the hire period.

Cancellations & Changes

Cancellations or changes made more than 48 hours before your hire are eligible for store credit. Cancellations or changes within 48 hours are not eligible for a refund or store credit.

Incorrect fit or change of mind falls under this cancellation policy. We recommend booking a try-on if you are unsure about sizing.

This does not affect any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.

Returns & Late Fees

Your dress must be returned by the agreed return date and time. If you need an extension, this must be approved by Tess Collective beforehand.

Late returns without prior approval may incur a $30 fee per day.

Cleaning & Damage

Standard professional cleaning is included in your hire fee, so please do not wash or dry clean the garment yourself.

Normal wear and tear will not incur a charge. However, excessive staining or minor repairable damage may incur a reasonable cleaning or repair fee of up to $50.

If a dress is lost, not returned, or damaged beyond reasonable repair, you may be liable for the dress's documented recommended retail price (RRP), to the extent reasonably applicable and permitted by law.

Please take reasonable care of your dress and avoid anything likely to cause permanent damage or staining. Garments must not be altered, cut, dyed or modified.

Try-On Appointments

Try-on appointments are 30 minutes and cost $20. The appointment fee is non-refundable, including for cancellations, and is not deducted from a future dress hire.

A try-on does not reserve a dress for your event date. Your dress is secured once the full hire booking has been completed and confirmed.

Dress Availability

In the unlikely event that Tess Collective cannot provide your booked dress, for example due to unexpected damage during a previous hire, we will contact you as soon as possible and arrange an appropriate alternative or remedy.
